Sinclair Ang, founder of the JAZZ INC jazz dance collective in Singapore, believes that rhythm lies at the heart of everything we do. To him, dancing is simply walking to music, making it one of the most natural things that one can do. With this philosophy and a systematic approach to dance technique, he has inspired all manner of people both locally and internationally to Swing with a healthy dose of fun.
Sinclair has trained and choreographed for different performance groups at major dance and arts festivals in Singapore (Esplanade’s da:ns festival, Singapore Management University Arts Festival) and National Day Parade. His choreographies and performances have also been featured in commercials, documentaries (Destination: Dance, A Flair to Remember), as well as international festivals (Dublin Fringe Festival and Hong Kong Swing Festival). |
